New Delhi, April 29, 2026 : On the auspicious occasion of Martyrs’ Day (Shaheedi Diwas) on March 23, 2026, the Padma Vibhushan Aditya Nath Jha Memorial organized a National Bravery Award ceremony at the Press Club of India in New Delhi. On this occasion, tributes were paid to all those brave heroes—including Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivram Rajguru—who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. The program was anchored by Dr. Bharat Jha and senior journalist Rakesh Kumar Singh. Distinguished guests present at the event included Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain (Honorary) Yogendra Singh Yadav; Lok Sabha MP from South Delhi, Shri Rambir Singh Bidhuri; Lok Sabha MP from West Delhi, Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat; and Special Commissioner (Crime & Media) of the Delhi Police, Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastava, IPS. Additionally, Ms. Nitya Pathak, Chairperson of Sulabh, and Ms. Parul Singh were also present on this occasion.

The event’s Chief Guests were the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale, and former Union Minister Shri Ashwini Choubey. During this distinguished ceremony, BJP leader and former member of the Central Hindi Advisory Committee, Vinay Kumar Dubey, was conferred with the National Bravery Award by the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Ramdas Athawale, in the presence of Param Vir Chakra awardee Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav.

Addressing the gathering upon receiving the honor, Vinay Kumar stated, “Sacrifice for the motherland is the ultimate sacrifice, and one day, we all must repay this debt. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru stand as symbols of fearless patriotism and social commitment. Today, as we honor acts of bravery, we must also strive to uphold and advance their ideals of justice, equality, and national unity.”

Advocate Vinay Kumar Dubey (V. K. Dubey) is a legal professional based in Mumbai and Delhi, renowned for his expertise in civil, criminal, and NPA advisory matters. He primarily practices before the Bombay High Court and various trial courts. He also actively practices before the Supreme Court, handling various high-profile cases related to the banking and industrial sectors under the DRT and NCLT. He serves as the Chairman of the VKDL NPA Advisory Council, is a member of the Hindi Advisory Committee under the Government of India, and has also been conferred the designation of Special Executive Officer (SEO) by the Government of Maharashtra. He is also the Head of the Mumbai-based law firm “V K DUBEY ASSOCIATES,” which operates under the motto “Justice for All.” He specializes in resolving Non-Performing Asset (NPA) cases, banking laws, and civil/criminal disputes, while simultaneously spearheading social initiatives through his various trusts. His hard work in the legal field and his contributions to society have garnered significant appreciation. Furthermore, Mr. Dubey owns two additional law firms—VKDL Corporation LLP and United Legal—which are dedicated to banking, corporate, and settlement matters, and collectively possess over a decade of experience in the legal domain.

He has also founded the ‘Brahmin International Business Orientation (BIBO) Foundation,’ the ‘Brahmin Ekta Manch Charitable Trust,’ and the ‘Gyanoday Seva Samiti,’ through which he engages in social welfare activities. He also serves as the National Legal Head of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan Sangathan’; he is affiliated with the BJP and is regarded as a grassroots-level leader. He is actively involved in philanthropic initiatives, including cattle protection and welfare, as well as the management of the ‘Kumari Mamta Devi Charitable Trust’ and the ‘Gyanoday Seva Samiti’—organizations that focus on providing aid and education to the underprivileged. In the years 2024 and 2026, he was honored with various awards for his legal and social work, including the “Popular Civilian Icon of India Award.”

Their courage continues to inspire generations even today.” In her address, Ms. Parul Singh, Chairperson of Safecure Services Pvt. Ltd., stated, “The legacy of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru is not confined merely to their sacrifice; rather, it conveys the message of standing up for what is right under any circumstance. Today’s youth should draw inspiration from their courage and embody it in their own lives.”

Sharing his experiences, Captain (Honorary) Yogendra Singh Yadav remarked, “I still vividly recall that moment during the Kargil War when I was just 19 years old, standing firm amidst arduous conditions, steadfast in my faith and courage toward my country. It is this very spirit that defines true valor.”

Dr. Bharat Jha observed, “This ceremony is not merely an occasion to honor acts of valor, but also an endeavor to keep alive the spirit of sacrifice and responsibility exemplified by our martyrs—Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru. It is imperative that the nation’s youth connect with these values.”

During the ceremony, individuals who have demonstrated exceptional excellence in the fields of valor and social service were felicitated. The speakers emphasized that such honors serve to inspire citizens—particularly the youth—to embrace the values ​​of courage, integrity, and service to the nation.

The program concluded with a collective pledge to preserve the legacy of the nation’s martyrs and to foster a spirit of valor, responsibility, and national pride within society.
